SOLVENTIS SPONSORS KENYAN CHARITY 'WIND OF HOPE'

In 1994, a group of Kenyan women founded a small self-help group to support local vulnerable women and children, many of whom were affected by HIV/AIDS.

They called themselves Pepo La Tumaini (“Wind of Hope” in Swahili).  The group has grown since then and has supported over 11,000 families over the years, providing education, lifesaving healthcare and rehabilitation in the community.

Solventis was delighted to be invited to sponsor a fundraising ball at the Savoy Hotel in London on 1st February 2018 and we are very pleased to advise that a sum well in excess of £170,000 was raised towards this valuable work as well as a wonderful evening being had by all.
