UK Sales Executive Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and successful multi-national petrochemical company within the sales team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter with a forward-thinking sales attitude to fulfil this new role.

There will be training on the products – the successful candidate just needs to have an interest in the field and an appetite to learn.

This role will involve travel in the UK so a valid driving license is essential.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with long standing and new customers
  • Answering inbound telephone calls/ email queries from existing and new customers
  • Making calls to potential customers to generate interest in our products
  • Liasing with the finance team to ensure payment terms are appropriate
  • Providing information to customers about products/ company and follow up on quotations
  • Providing sales order to the logistics team and following up as required
  • Supporting the wider sales team with administration
  • Ad-hoc projects

Commercially astute and the ability to pick up new information quickly

Education and qualifications:


Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent telephone manner

Valid driving license.


Familiar with Microsoft office programmes

Ideally the successful candidate will be of graduate level and have some previous sales/ customer experience.
